We hope you can drop by this Sat. Sept. 15 between 5-7pm at the Garden Patch (900 block 3rd Ave/Duchess St.) for harvest snacks, a seed saving workshop, and a chance to process seeds to share with others.

Thanks to the fabulous Food Bank staff and our volunteers, we had a generous crop of new tomato, spinach, cilantro and bean seeds. We could really use a hand picking! You could go home with a box of green tomatoes to ripen and eat, healthy seeds to use next season, and a good feeling that you’ve helped a worthwhile local cause!

Some of you have kindly offered to share your cherished heritage seeds with the Saskatoon Seed Library– I’m happy to collect these this Saturday. Or, if you want to drop them off at my home at 725 Ave. I South, I’d appreciate it.  Thanks for this offer!

Hope to see you this Saturday at our last event of the season!
